Hi Totos,

I cannot tell you what an invaluable resource Japanese Angler’s Secrets has been for me and my friends here in the US. As I’m sure you know, slow pitch and long fall jigging is still in its infancy on this side of the world. A lot of people look at us with our funny rods and weird metal jigs like we’re crazy until we out fish the boat!

Here’s a picture of me from last weekend with a nice African Pompano caught on long fall.

Congrats on your first success in your slow pitch game! I know, I know, I know, it’s a great feeling to outfish everyone and surprise those with the suspicious look!

So I understand slow pitch has landed on USA finally…
The problem is not the angler, it’s the boat operation, like every other countries. I wish commercial captains would understand more about real “vertical” game for anglers.

You got the nice light tackle set up there, Benny. Get more heavier jigs and try your best to stay vertical.
